Vernon Jackals are extremely happy to announce that we are running Under 19's practices starting on June 2nd!
Where: Fulton School Fields - 2301 Fulton Road, Vernon.
When: First practice will be Tuesday, June 2nd. Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season. Practice run time: 5:00pm until 6:30pm
Who: Boys and Girls; U19 – Grades 11 & 12 (Born 2009 & 2008) – U19 *Overager (Born 2007)
Practices: Will be skills orientated, aimed at improving player performance on the rugby pitch. Closer to games, training will be switched to game specific scenarios allowing players to gain a greater knowledge of 15 a side rugby.
Games: Exhibition games will be held on Saturdays during September. Dates TBD. Team Fees, Rugby Canada Insurance, and BC Rugby
Membership: Fees to cover rental of the practice field, and any other costs will be announced closer to the start of the season. Vernon Jackals will try their upmost to keep fees as low as possible to make rugby attainable for all.
* Overager - We have limited spots for anyone who has recently graduated. We do however, encourage you all to come and practice.

Mini rugby is a no-contact youth rugby program for boys and girls ages 5 to 12. It offers an introduction to rugby skills, taught and implemented through a series of exercises and fun games. It typically includes rugby jamborees in Vernon, Kelowna and Kamloops as well. The program runs for eight weeks, starting in April and ending in June.
Exact dates and cost will be posted in May.
